Our team have all been personally trained by Maverick over the years and slowly expanded into the multiple crews that you see on our projects today. Most of the employees have been with us since the beginning when Maverick Decks was only one crew. Great people mean that you get a great project.
Maverick Lauzon – Owner
Maverick is a graduate of the Bissett School of Business of Mount Royal University and his interest in entrepreneurship is matched by his love of construction. Maverick Decks was started during university and has grown substantially over the years. Prior thereto, Maverick worked on many elements of commerical and residential construction, having done retail build-outs across Western Canada for several years.
Dave Cochrane – Salesman
Dave has been working in the construction industry for over 30 years with a primary focus on decks for the past 13 years. During those years Dave acquired the ability to build high end custom decks with his wife, Lilly, and hired crews. Through Dave’s experience of owning and running his own deck building business, he was able to seamlessly transition to solely focusing on the sales side of selling custom decks for clients at Maverick Decks. Dave continues to share his knowledge and expertise to ensure clients are exceptionally pleased with their final product and can enjoy their customized space for years to come.
Kameron Kuperis – Construction Manager
Kam started working for Maverick Decks in 2017 and brings over 10 years of carpentry experience. He has specialized in both residential and commercial projects, building custom homes, pole barns and bridges. Kams detailed craftsmanship gives clients a quality building experience.
Lukas Kowalko – Crew Lead
With extensive experience across the full spectrum of carpentry, Lukas brings professional expertise to every deck project. His background spans from new home framing to custom furniture creation, ensuring both structural integrity and aesthetic excellence in his work. As a lead carpenter for Maverick Decks he applies the precision, reliability, and craftsmanship developed through years of diverse carpentry experience to deliver exceptional outdoor spaces that enhance both the value and enjoyment of your home.
Liz Dasalla – Project Coordinator
Liz plays a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. Liz has been part of the Maverick Decks team for over 4 years and is vital to project coordination, client communication, and daily operations. Liz’s attention to detail assists in giving the client a seamless experience.
