We hired Maverick Decks after recommendation from the Deck Store a little over a year and a half ago to replace our dilapidated old deck. We went with Maverick even though they were not the cheapest bid. I have learned from experience that the cheapest means a substandard product.
Maverick came out and provided some design suggestions that we agreed with and turned out well.
They started the job quickly and were very well organized. The demolition crew came out and in super quick fashion had all the old deck removed and loaded onto a trailer and hauled away.
Then the footings team came in and poured all footings. Then they had the City Permit inspector out.
Then came the framing which went quick. The longest part was the finishing work and boards. We went with triple picture frame border. Looks great. I was very pleased with the finishing details. Perfect joints and corners. The only thing needing adjusting after a year and a half is a couple swing storage doors that are hard to open and close.
From start to finish the job went smooth. Crew were all professional, polite and cleaned up each day. Definitely recommend these guys to others.
